My Hubby's New Rollie (2)
Since, the previous post is one of popular posts... i thought i shall laborate further on it and provide you guys with better pictures...
He bought the watch at Watch Palace in Lucky Plaza during his lunch break... so I wasn't around to come along to admire the rest of the pieces and collection in the shop. Anyway, he got a discount on the watch which is a GMT watch. In addition, it was BNIB (Brand new in a box) piece right from the store with all the small little plastics still attached on the watch (yes, i saw that). Oh yes and it was also from the latest alpha- numeric series. He was estactic.. well he still is...
Enuf said, here is a close- up shot of the watch or rather his current love, the Rollie....

I have been poisoned.... by CHANEL...
I started with their blusher.. then lipstick.. then a few years later in 2010, I bought their PST.. (I will post the picture of the shopping tote very soon.. that was my first Chanel bag which was SGD2570. I should have gotten the flap at that point of time but I was not bale to part with 5k just like that.. so now you have to pay more for the flap.. luckily it was just 1k more).. then I moved on to getting their pearl earrings.. the classic flap in caviar.. another earrings 2 weeks ago when I was in KL and another pair last Sunday. This time round its a clip- on pair... and yes i'll be sharing the pics of the lovely pair here.
It cost RM740 so its approx. SGD308.. slightly cheaper than the ones sold in Singapore stores.. (I checked MBS and it was going at SGD320)... hahaha a very small saving of $12. I'm actually smiling typing this..... not because of the savings but more so for the planning that comes with it.. or rather the no planning that came with the purchase. I just love their packaging esp their Camelia flower! Told the sales associate it was a gift.. haha a gift for myself!

My Iphone case- Prada Valentine's Day Collection 2012
I was contemplating between getting the black or this .. in the end.. I bought it as a friend of mine has the black version last year. In terms of phone cases, there are no differences between last year and this year.. but there are new wallets collection for this year Valentine's Day.
oh yes, anyway its $230.. if i can remember correctly.. cheaper than las year.
Actually, I wanted to buy their Christmas edition.. a green phone case.... its gorgeous but well i only discovered the existence of it during the last week of last year.. so as expected its sold out.. so sad.
Lessons from the book 'Hector and the Search for Happiness' by Francois Lelord
From the title of the book, you can figure out that we are looking at lessons that revolve around the word 'happiness'... As I read the book, i'll share with you the lessons which are ultimately the gist of this story. Then again, never restrict yourself from reading this book.. its definitely a good read!
Lesson 1:
Women are very complicated even if you are a psychiatrist.
Lesson 2:
You must be very careful when you ask someone whether they are happy cause it may upset them a great deal.
Lesson 3:
You should not make comparision when it comes to to happiness. It will spoit your happiness.
Lesson 4:
Happiness often come when least expected. (Reminds of the book 'Ignore everyone'; there's something in the book on expctation).
Lesson 5:
Many people see happiness only in the future (I am also guilty of this).
Lesson 6:
Happiness is often linked to having more power and more money
(I feel the same way.. at times I always tell myself that my hubby and I are happy cause we have almost everything that we wanted in life.. esp. with the coming of our newborn.. yeah and of course not forgetting the money and power too... But then again, as I think about the two latter issues that are brought up, I fee that life is superficial if everything revolves around material desires. .. i guess in order for us to experience true happiness in this new- age world.. we need to strike a balnce between enjoying a luxury life and living a life humbly. It takes practise but i think its very possible. Its like in our religion whereby we are thought to be happy with what we have and at the same time contribute back to the society esp. for the needy from what we have been happy with).
Lesson 7: Happiness is acheivable when you least know it.
(Sometimes its better to know less. The more you know about what goes on at work, with the prevalence of the inevitable work politics, the less happy you become esp. when you know that people are making use of you at work or they are just simply taking the credit of your work.. hmmm i seem to reflect based on my experience.. I'm sure there are many others out there who feel the same way as I do).
Lesson 8:
Happiness is a long walk in the mountains.
To be continued... still reading...
